Nicholas, Kitchen Manager
Nicholas Rountree was born in Portland, and though he's traveled hither and yon, he can't seem to stay away. Having lived and experienced a wide variety of careers, he's returned to his first love — the heat and camaraderie of a kitchen. Growing up in a family of experienced, adventurous home cooks instilled a love of flavor and an appreciation for all the ways food can bring people together.
In the kitchen, Nick is most proud of fostering an environment of mutual respect and open communication. Starting in the dishwashing station, rising to his position as "Unofficial Vibes Officer" and eventually reaching the heights of "Kitchen Manager" Nick has fully bought into the Bagel Life.
